OMG my brain is going to explode so many questions

Hi will someone with some common sense or experience please help!!
I cannot choose pram travel system buggie stroller or similar because we cant decide if we need a carrycot, because we cant decide if we need a moses basket or a crib or a travel cot.
The only thin i am certain on is the cot!! are you keeping the cot in your room for the firts 6 months or a re you getting cribs which means you then need a moses basket for downstairs, then if you have a crib + moses basket do you just get a from birth stroller??
I really want to start buyin things but dont know whats best, we dont want to double up on things if we dont have to!!!
Any suggestions would be fab

We have been given a cot and a moses basket but we've also bought a carrycot as it came as part of our travel system package. Most babies i know havent liked their moses basket so at least we have options! Plan on having bubs in with us for for a while but will have the moses basket downstairs. We are new to all this too so we will just be playing it by ear!!!
