Do you wear your engagement ring ? cause doesnt the wedding ring go before the engagement ring ? and what about other rings on other fingers or your other hand? can you wear them or do you have to be naked? Its the small things im starting to worry about now

I always thought you didnt wear any rings for the ceremony, because like you say, the wedding ring goes on first, and in the films it always goes onto a naked finger
Dunno about other rings on other fingers though

The traditional way is to put your engagment ring on your other hand, so the same finger just on the other hand.

Then once you have had your pictures taken you can put it back on the right hand

Im wearing mine on my other hand- I was going too wear it around my neck on a chain but I have a funny feeling my mum is giving me a necklace for my something old and something new

I like having on it as chain idea that would solve the jewelery issue,and also it would mean somthing.Think I will put it on my other hand then get it back on as soon as I can!x

What I did was I wore it like usual on my left hand the whole morning while getting ready as usual. Then right before we went over for the ceremony, I was going to move it over to my right ring finger and realized it didn't fit! So I kept it on my left hand until right before we were going to walk down the aisle I put it on my right pinky finger. We had some wording in our ceremony that after he placed my wedding band on he was to move my engagement ring over and place it on top of my wedding band. Something like the engagement ring symbolizes the love that brought you together.

But do whatever works best for you. If it's easier to give your engagement ring to someone else to hold on to until your pictures, that works too.

I took mine to the jewelry store and got them sotred together. they sort of glue them or add something so they look just like one. It completely sucks not having my ring until the wedding day. I keep thinking it fell off.lol. At the wedding when OH puts it on my left hand they both stay. I'm not one for rings but I think it should be fine as long as the wedding one is bare.

My engagement ring doesn't fit comfortably on my other hand, or with my wedding ring, so I had my MoH keep hold of it from literally just the time that we arrived at the venue until after the photos. I now wear it as a necklace- it's not on a chain, more a length of cord but it looks good!
