So, I have a nursing question.
I FF. I had been pumping as well, but am now choosing to dry up mostly. My son rejects pumped milk (even if I hide it in formula) and won't drink from me during the day. I also have significant supply issues relating to a medical issue I had. My supply never recovered.
So, I see no point to pumping anymore. It's making me crazy, kind of ruining my motherhood experience, and my son isn't even drinking it. But! There is a lovely but. My son will nurse in the morning. He gets up around 5:00 or 6:00 and I can nurse him and back to bed he goes. I would like to continue this successful feed.
If I only nurse in the morning, is this sustainable? Or will I likely dry up completely? Either way I'm done with the pumping, but I'm curious to know everyone's thoughts on whether this will work out.
