Heya everyone,

Went for my follicular monitoring today and found out that this cycle (this is my 2nd iui) I have only 1 follie. I had taken letroz 2.5 mg which is the lowest dose (also known as femera in some countries) for 5 days. In my last iui with the same dose I had 2 follies 1 on each ovary. So, am quite disappointed with just 1 this time. Anyone had successful iui with 1 follie

Well I have not had any success even with 8 follicles doing IUI, but my DH has really low sperm count and mobility. How are things for you on that side? If your partner's counts are good, all it takes is 1 eggie and 1 sperm :winkwink: Good Luck!!!

Unfortunately, we are going in for th iui for male factor infertility. DH has low motility. My Doc is going to try to combine 2 samples this time ie my husband will be asked to give 2 samples within an hour or so and then the best sperms will be taken. Also, the doctor is suggesting adding some caffine to the sample to stimulate the spermies :-) Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck to you hun:dust:

I took 2,5 mg femara this cycle also - days 5-9 which is more likely to produce one follie than days 3-7.
What days did you take your meds?
I O'd this past Sunday and was very sore - so hope was a strong O.
We did not do IUI just the meds.
CW

Sorry you only got one follie. I read that women who ovulate normally and take it earlier in the cycle - usually get more than one.

maybe the dose was too mild :( Anyway i m trying to remain positive and hope for the best

I also just had IUI with one follicle. FX it is enough!

Good luck. xx

I O'd a few days ago on Femara - very - very sore ovary - bding hurt - moving hurt - geting off the couch hurt. Anyone have a similar O on letrozole?
Thanks:flower:

My left side is a bit sore today and I am suppose to ovulate today. But i normally also feel a bit of pinching sensation when i ovulate. Will get to know tomm morning for sure if i have ovulated after the follicular monitoring.

Well I wasn't iui but icsi. We only had one fertilised embie!!! It really only does take one. Good luck :hugs:
