Opinion on names...help!!

DH and I are having a terrible time with boy names!! We cannot seem to agree so I thought I'd see if you ladies could help! I'm trying to avoid asking family opinions because most of them are very opinionated and may be offended if we don't choose the name they like best!

Ok our problem is that our last name (it's Beverly) is kind of feminine sounding (no offense if anyone else has that last name too!) I am totally open to suggestions but here's what we have so far (we are trying to incorporate James somehow bc its a family name but I'd like to avoid it as a first name):

Spencer James Beverly
Parker James Beverly
Jameson Duke Beverly (this is DH pick lol)

Spencer is my favourite, but I think the danger of your surname is that, when written down, if you have a traditional surname as a first name, people might assume that it's a girl's name written the wrong way around.

Does that make sense?
