Don't apologise LunaRose, this is why I wanted to sound it out on here.
My husband does think having TWO children with Martial arts connections when we aren't even oriental is a bit dodgy! I do love the actor Jet Li but it wasn't him that got me thinking of the name-it was actually on a list of names I was looking at recently.
I know for certain that this name would be controversial in our families as the in laws favour traditional names and when a neighbour called their child Harrison they were full of comments..... and as for my family I think they are just waiting for us to come up with something strange!-my mum keeps teasing we will call this one Bruce!

I dunno! I will keep mulling it over! x

Well it's a lovely name .. Just depends if you want to take the risk! I have a family like that too! We didn't tell ANYONE what name we had picked. I knew someone would say they didn't like our name choices, and that would bother me! Instead they told me after he was born That's why I dislike saying I don't like other peoples name choices! xx

I love the name Jayden, it was on my shortlist when we chose Brandon's name.
I think no matter what we choose there will be friends or family that don't like it but that's the beauty of having your OWN child, you get to name him/her, not them, my in laws have had their turn so they should button up! (of course, as always, I do appreciate the feedback on here though as it is impartial and it's nice to have an idea of what is, at least, acceptable!!) x

Hmm I think Jett could grow on me. I like Thomas Lee.
Is Jett also a stone? I like that connotation better than a plane.
My first thought was of John Travoltas son for Jett.

Yes, I thought of his son before I thought of the actor actually! (I love John Travolta!) was so sad when his son died and I remember thinking that is a really cool name... and appropriate for him as he fly's Jet's but yes, in my case I would prefer to link it to the stone!

i love the name jet but do prefer the spelling jett as it takes away the similarities to other famous jets and also away from jet as in a jet plane. xx
