Opinions please - and be brutal!

We find ourselves in the total surprise position of expecting a boy.
I have always had pretty good ideas of what I'd like for girls names, but am struggling with boys.
It's going to be an issue - OH has two clear faves, neither of which I would even consider. I've suggested we both compile lists, then compare notes.

Here's my list. I've already culled a few that I know OH just wouldn't go for...

Bodhi
Conner
Elliot
Griffin
Jasper
Loki - my fave
Micah
Mitchell - this was my maiden name, so I thought that would be nice
Oliver
Oscar
Toby
Xander

My absolute fave is Loki. I thought it would be nice to have another Norse mythology name... but Loki was the god of thieves and mischief, and was actually pretty nasty to Freya, so I wondered if it might be a bad idea.

So - opinions please. And if you have any other suggestions that would be cool too.

I love the new trend of using a maiden name as a future baby's name, only if it can work of course... and Mitchell works great! I think it's such a neat idea!!

I have always loved the name Loki. I'm a huge Kevin Smith fan & Matt Damon's character in the movie DOGMA has this name. Although, i must admit... i have considered using it for a puppy! But it's super-cute for a baby!

I really like Oliver, Zander, & Toby too!

I love Loki and also thought of Matt Damon lol, I also think Mitchell is a sweet idea. I wanted my mums mn Reilly for one of mine but dh wasn't up for it.

Loki is a great name - actually I have already used this name for one of my dogs! Also along the Norse mythology lines what about Odin? (I have an Odin aswell lol!)

i actually really like Loki!! I think you should go with that. It goes really well with Freya. This is the first time I have heard the name and my initial thought was that you choose it.
I quite like Jasper and oliver too xx
