What do you all think of the name Amber?

Any suggestions for a middle name that flows nicely with it?

I find it a very pretty name! I feel like it spiked in popularity for people who are now around 30 (not 100% sure how true that is) but it doesn't sound too dated (like it would if a person named their newborn Jennifer) - I find it a really nice pick!

Any style you like for middle names? It's so hard to start from scratch with suggestions!

It feels very 80s/90s to me but as the PP said not quite to the same extent as other popular names at the time like Tiffany, Stephanie, etc.

I have a good friend from back in junior high named Amber and I always really liked her name growing up.

Ive only met 1 Amber, she was sweet, shy and had firey auburn hair (no idea if she was name because of that though)

I think its pretty and not dated to me at all

I also like Ember too

depends on the surname... in combination with a German or Eastern European surname I'd find it pretty odd, if it's english it's probably okay, I guess... but I general don't like kids being names after gemstones that much. Especially not girls.
makes me think of that girl from the "the tribe".

I think a name with 2 or 3 syllable could fit well.

I think it's lovely but I'm biased as it's on our girls list. For a middle name we are thinking Amber Grace xx
