OPK experts please :)

Hey girlies, can someone please help me with OPKs...
I just did my first one yesterday and the test line was very visibly lighter than the control line.
Today I did another one around the same time of the day and within the 3 minutes it was kinda like half of the test line (the half closer to the peeing part) was darker than the other half - so I just left it alone and then I saw it about a half hour later and the lines were exactly the same.

So is that a positive OPK?

The line to the right is the "control" line, so that is always there regardless if you are ovulating or not...the line to the left, closest to the part you pee on would be the result line. If it is lighter in color I would say you would ovulate in about 48 hrs or so. The darker the color the higher the LH surge. and the closer you are to ovulating. So to simply answer your question Yes it is a Positive OPK. Hope that helps. GOOD LUCK!

Yeah the thing that got me though was that is was like half of the line was darker and half of it lighter - but I ended up taking another one which was just light so I probably haven't o'd yet. Thanks though

Hmmm that is weird. I know mine will be lighter a day or so my predicted o day and the day of it's usually darker than the control line. Good luck to you!
