New here, but excited for some great advice!
Here is my small dilemma...
I have short 23/24 day cycles. I am using OPKs for the second cycle. I have gotten my first positive on day 9 or 10 usually. I decided to try the "every other day" approach this cycle because the 3-4 days in a row around ovulation time wasn't working and making things feel a little forced.
Today is day 9 and at 9:30am I got my first +OPK (neg last night at 10pm). Just now at 1:30pm, it was NEGATIVE!!! So far we have BD, day 4, 6 and 8 (last night).
The tricky part is my husband is traveling tomorrow (Thurs) morning until Saturday. I was going to BD tomorrow a.m. before he left to cover my Day 10 and just try again Saturday if we can (guests at our home on day 12!). This sticks with the "every other day" approach.
Now Im wondering if because I got my +OPK today (day 9) if I should do it tonight instead or tonight and tomorrow morning? I was trying the "every other day" thinking my husband might need some "recycle" time between BD'ing?
What should I do?? BD 8,9, and 10? or 8 and 10 and 12, or 8 and 9 (thinking just a few hours until morning he wont be very "recycled"? (no known sperm issues btw).
Thanks for any advice, sometimes I feel these OPKs (smileyfaceones) cause more stress than not...
