Does this count as having ovulated? I need a second opinion!

Month 2 of trying and had weird mid cycle bleeding right around what I *think* was the positive test. Really freaked me out, I've been tracking for a year since coming off birth control and it's the first time that's happened. I went to the ob and had some tests but I don't think I'll hear back until Monday :(

I honestly have no idea! Looks like good progression but I can't be sure. Do you temp at all? I use the CBdigi OPKs with the smiley face/open circle (don't use the flashing smiley ones!) and then I don't have to guess if the line is dark enough. I also get blood tests 7dpo to confirm ovulation by progesterone levels. It's very helpful! Did you check if your CM lined up with the darkest one?

So I haven't tried temping yet, or any other opk...

I've been off bc for a year, using condoms still, and normally my cm is super predictable and good right around that time, but this month instead of cm I had some pretty decent spotting :/ ob doesn't have any answer, just stress maybe?

Well unfortunately OPKs can't detect ovulation, but they do detect LH surge.

Since that stick at 16 has a test line that is as dark or darker than the second line we can say for sure that you had an LH surge. Whether or not a follicle tried to release an egg can be tested by taking your blood and measuring your progesterone, or confirming three consistent temps higher than your preovulatory range.

Since temping each morning is waaaay cheaper than drawing your blood every month, most women stick with that.

I like combining OPKs and temps because I see the two dark lines on the opk and then I know in a few days my temp should go up. Then when it does I can know ovulation is over. If it doesn't go up then I know to keep doing OPKs until I get a second surge or I can go into the doctor to reboot a bad cycle.

It looks like the 6am and the OPK before that one looks + :)
Usually the + one is just as dark or darker than the control line
