I'm on the list and have been since I was legally able to put myself on it - (can't remember if its 16 or little bit later) I agree that we should have an opt out system - if people are against it for whatever reason they can easily opt out.
I have problems with my liver which don't affect me now although I do get extra monitoring during pregnancy because it places extra strain on it and is one of the reasons I'm having kids young, I know its 50/50 that I'll need a liver transplant in later adulthood and I hate the thought that quite a large proportion of people on the list are there through their own making, I didn't create my problems so obviously my views are biased. I don't think money should play a part, you shouldn't be able to buy life.
