I'm getting seriously uncomfortable pains around my hips, quite sore really. Anybody else get this?? I would've thought it'd be a while before i'd start expanding to accomodate the baby?? I'm only 8 weeks.

I was exactly 8 weeks when I started feeling uncomfortable aches! They lasted a few days and then simply disappeared. I panicked!
It's apparently quite natural though. I
f you feel they are too painful or simply don't feel right, then put your mind at ease and go see your doc. Trust your intuition but they're prob nothing to worry about. xx xx

I'm not worried about them, just god damn annoying!! I'm actually suprised, this is my first pregnancy and I'm taking the aches and pains in my stride, I thought I'd be a nervous wreck.

I started getting stretching type pains almost immediately! And it doesn't get better unfortunately!

I can't say I've suffered with that.

Although something I noticed. Yesterday I went out shopping with my sister-in-law. Had to go buy me a dress for her wedding :D

Anyway! We were in a shop and while I was at the till the shop closed. Now they don't have normal doors instead they have this big steel door that closes and opens like a garage door.

The woman at the door was keeping it closed and just letting customers out as they finished. But she didn't open it all the way for us. She opened it jsut a little and I had to bend down and try and crawl under it. (I was too exhausted to complain)

I bent my knees and got under like that but as I stood up again my hips started KILLING me! Even when I got to my husband who was waiting for me they were still really sore. I had to hold onto the trolley cause I was afraid my legs were going to fall off lol.

Not cool :(

Yeah thats normal, I have them a lot now they started about 7 weeks and gradually got worse, now they're waking me up in the night when I sleep on my side, I think its my bodies way of telling me to TURN OVER!! Lol. Don't worry though they are normal, and your uterus starts stretching from as soon as you conceive!

I get this as well especially at night if i'm lying in the same position for too long.

I didn't have them that early on in my hips but from about 17 or 18 weeks my hips are mega painful during the night on which ever side I'm laying on. It means I get very restless. I've found I can still sort of sleep on my stomach which helps but baby doesn't like it. He's kicking away till I lay on my stomach.
