Hi

I thought I would make a thread for those who were on the Bellies to Bumps group while ttc and got our long awaited BFP's:)

Maybe we can use this space to talk about things which we wouldnt necessarily want to bring up with ppl still ttc.

There are loads of issues Im thinking of with being still overweight and pregnant so I hope we can support each other here!

x

YAY!!! I'm here!!!!!!!!! Hope the others will be joining us VERY soon!

Wooo hoooo!!! This is perfect!

I was really missing bellys to bumps! This thread has made my day!

Tarkwa, how do you make your sigs go side to side like that? Gonna make me some CD to scan tickers and they wont all fit!

I checked my blood sugar after dinner and it was great! So, I snarfed the last Gu desert :p was only a weeny one but was lush >< Was one which went in the microwave for 15 secs and was just a little shot glass size so not too bad I think.

Said to hubby that I deserved the last one as I had had one the other day, he had one, now Elmo wants one!

Good luck with your pregnancies girlies.

Sorry you won't be on Bellies to Bumps anymore.

Erm I just put a space between them? Rather than a 'return'. Is that what you mean?

Im still planning on staying on bellies to bumps! Just thought we could talk about anything to do with eating for two and that kinda nonsense here.

Traskey I'll still come to bellys to bumps to see how you guys are - we just can't talk about pg things in there. But you could always come here to see how were doing and we can go there to see how your all doing. And then no one will be sad. Does that make sense?

Haha cran your so much better with words than I am!

I cant sleep! Excited about GP appt tmw hehe. How stupid is that. Im sure he'll say go away and wait for midwife appt. But I WANT my progesterone checking. If its low its something which is so easy to fix.

Been getting annoyed at the first tri threads. Ppl who got preg rly quick etc. Even tho Im preg now, I still feel quite hurt and jealous about the lost time if you know what I mean. The Clomid graduates club isnt so bad but they talk about actual bringing up baby stuff quite a lot and Im not quite ready to hear about sleepless nights and breastfeeding. Freaked me out a bit tbh lol.

There's been a couple of threads about ladies who felt guilty for falling preggers so easily when they know that other ladies on here have had a real struggle. They've been 'nice' to read as you realise that not all people who fall PG so quickly think it's an easy ride. But yeah, I totally get what you say about lost time. I could have been mummy to a 1 year old now, celebrating their first birthday right about now :sad2:.

Hiya

Went to see the Dr today and he says that any factory packed sliced meat or precooked meat is ok. He also said that a bit of Brie wouldnt hurt - pregnant French women live on it after all.

Im down to 15 11 this morning. My blood sugar is fine so it isnt diabetic scary losing weight. Just eating healthily I suppose. I did also hear that you burn more calories right now.

Eating Edamame beans right now. MMM. Loving my food atm.

Found a few places which do plusish size maternity wear. Mothercare, Mamas & Papas, Asda and Dorothy Perkins so far. Love M&P but quite expensive :o Not even close to buying anything yet, just lookin :)

Yeah, I just wanted to look in M&S today but sooooo upset they had nothing in store. Thanks for the dress details earlier - might check out DP and Asda though. I just want to be able to try stuff on before buying. As Trask said, it's hard enough buying for plus sizes, let alone when your body is changing shape in just one place! I've got some other jeans that will keep me going for now though. We have a M&P near to us with a fair bit of mat clothes, but as you say, just a touch on the expensive side. Mothercare doesn't seem to bad, but we've got such a tiny one near us - might have to travel a bit further.

Good news about the pre-packed factory sliced stuff, but a shame we can't eat the yummy ham with some yummy coleslaw :growlmad:. Might see what the midwife has to say about that on Tuesday! If you do do brie, there are pasteurised versions so that is probably the safest option.

Well done on the loss chick - yeah our bodies are meant to be burning cals something like 20% more than before which is great news. I think my weight is hovering around 91.5kg at the moment (201.5lbs or roughly 14st 6lbs), but today I feel massive so it might be more !!!! Really not worrying about the scales - makes such a change!

I was told ms didn't really kick in until about 6 weeks (and that was true for me!), so your experiment on Sunday will be interesting - can't wait to hear the results!

Aww I'm so sorry you still feel bad about lost time girls. Jus think, when you have your little bundles in your arms it won't matter at all about the journey.

I felt like all of that melted away when I got my bfp. Since I started trying my big sis has had three more babies, and i used to look at her two yr old and thin I could have one of you now, and she talks and reasons and it use to break my heart. Now that I know I'll have my own two yr old eventually I don't feel the same at all.

I've had an excelent day ms wise - I was super queasy on the but this morning, but I felt much better by 8am and I've been fine all day! Then when I got home my dh was making me spag Bol for tea - mmmm was goood!

Hia ladies :)

I hope I can join you soon! till then I will be journal stalking and popping in here to check on you all if that is ok? xxx

Hi lovie!

Im not sure if the ms experiment will work tbh. I know it's crazy wanting ms but just wanna see as I am keeping my stomach lined well ATM. I think I'm gonna go look at maternity clothes on Sunday too. Want to know if i fit into the size 18/20 things or if I have to get specially made hessian sacks!

If be queasy on the bus too tbh. Don't they throw those things around corners!

Think Im gonna give Brie a miss tbh. Is nice to know that we can, going to France in June so might have a weeny bit. Dr also said 1-2 units of alcohol a few times a week was ok. What's the point tbh. Would rather just drink juice. Maybe if you want to have a glass of champagne or something but otherwise one pint? Not worth it tbh

God, lots of tbh's there. Tired I think. Bed!

Sorry if I sounded a bit abrupt last night girlies. I didn't mean to  Obviously an even worse day than I thought. Like Lovie i'll pop in to see how you are doing if that's ok :hugs:

Edited because I can't spell for toffee tonight!

Someone just linked me a 25% off code for DP. can use it until the 17th. Online only I think but can always try things on in shop then buy online

Code is dpvipd

I dont think you sounded abrupt, I was just concerned that you thought I had started some pally pally new club, isnt like that at all. See, we're still in B2B!
