I'm covered in nettle stings I once gave Amelie a blackberry on the way home from nursery and now when we walk past she has a tantrum and says 'ow-a-wa' AKA 'another one' and points. So anyway I decided to get a little container and pick them to take home

Big mistake I got pricked by a million thorns and stung by a trillion nettles

They are yummy though Thankfully the wild raspberrys arent so lethal!

Really sore. I didn't know you could eat wild berries like that, Where abouts do they grow?

thats blackberries - i think the pink ones are the unripe ones. I just pick the dark ones.

raspberry bushes look the same but theyre red obv and the unripe ones are whitish green. They look like the ones u get in shops but theyre a lot shinier looking.

is there no walks near you ? or a woodland area? i never knew we had any near us until i started walking more after having amelie.

Not that I know of, we go to the campsie fells so I'll look out for them there. We are kind of in the city and i don't think I have seen anything like that at the botanic gardens. (sorry don't know if you know any of these areas in Scotland)

oh yum yum theres loads down at the stream where i walk my dog and we stop for a few most days

We picked a load last year but they had tiny baby maggots in so that really put me off, i won't be pickin them again lol.
