Ovarian Cyst

Ive been diagnosed as having a 4cm cyst on my left side. Can this be affecting my chance of pregnancy?

ohmigod i just started a new thread on exactly the same thing!! I have had 2 TVS and on one the cyst was 5mm....more recently n another cycle it was 11mm!!! I don't think small cysts cause too much trouble...apparently you can have cysts and still conceive with no problems...that kerry katona was diagnosed with PCO wasnt she? She's got 4 kids!!!

Im just worried i have to see the gyno and no doubt the docter said will have it removed. Im just worried about it bursting and causing conceving problems.

Hi Girls try not to worry too much about cysts of that size - I too had one that was 4cm - they scanned again about 8 weeks later, and it had totally disappeared. The gynae did say that it would not have caused any probs conceiving though, so try not to get too worked up about it.
Cysts come and go with your cycles, and most of them will go on their own.

My cyst has gone up to 17mm! I thought they keep bursting but now not too sure if its the same cyst that has been there growing slowly all along.
