Ovarian cysts decrease chance of getting pregnant?

I found out a few months ago that I had an ovarian cyst about the size of a golf ball when I had an ultra sound for bladder pressure. The next month I went for an internal scan to make sure everything was okay, the cyst had gone but another one had formed on my other ovary. I haven't been diagnosed with pcos and have regular periods each month.

I'm seeing the doctr tomorrow to book an appointment to have another ultrasound done.


Are my chances of conceiving decreased?

i have a history of ovarian cysts that come and go on there own. my doctor (years ago) said that they could do surgery for me but there was no guarantee they wouldnt come back and that it possibly could affect me having children in the future so i said no and even with ovarian cysts i ended up getting pregnant to full term and now i am ttc #2

That's put my mind at ease. Congratulations!
Did you have the odd cyst or did you have a few on each ovary?
Saw my doctor this morning and she said all my results from specialists don't mention pcos but on one report it mentions that my left ovary was multicystic but my background shows regular periods.

Is it certain that you defiantly ovulate if you have your period?
