Anyone had this for PCOS? Did it fix your cycles, or get you PG? How long did the benefits last? Did you have it done on the NHS? Was it painful?

I believe Debshopeful did and she is now pregnant! Good luck!

Oooh I was going to ask this myself very soon! I have to go for CD21 bloods on 29 June followed by a review with my GP who I think will increase my Clomid. However, I have read that Clomid is more succesful after the drilling - if you only get so many goes on the Clom it might make sense to have it done first right??

Would be very interested to hear from anyone who has had it done with positive or negative opinions :)

i had drilling in july, it made my af come sooner - every 28 days the past 2 months.
i started first cycle of clomid 50mg 4 days ago. so i am hoping for a bfp

i had clomid for a year and apparently that is all they will give it to you for, to reduce the chance of getting ovarian cancer...so i had the ovarian drilling done in january, and still no joy, i asked about starting back on the clomid now i have had the drilling done, but they blatantly said they can't give me any more, and that there is nothing more they can do for me...so we bought a dog :-(

Thats not good.....have they now mentioned IVF? Do you have PCOS?

I had Ovarian drilling done a few months back, It doesnt hurt no just abit sore after for a few days but nothing major

I had been on clomid for a year on 100MG & it bought my cycles down from 90 days to between 32-36 days.

After the ovarian drilling they seemed to be about 52 days & after the ovarian drilling i got a cycle that eas 36 days.. This should now be my 2nd cycle after the ovarian drilling & i am already on CD42 so it has not worked for me as my cycle lenght is increasing already & this should not be happening

I have until the 16th July & if i dont fall & being referred for IVF privatley & have to pay (even the first go)
