Hi, so I've just been told that I have a cyst on my right ovary. I have had scans sent of to a gyno as we are a little town and the closest one is an hour or over drive away. I got told by my GP that it's 5cm and it needs to come out by surgery as I'm in an extreme amount of pain. I had my specialist appointment 2 days ago and he pushed on a spot just in my hip that didn't hurt as the pain is about 3cm to the left then he has just giving me a prescription for more painkillers and anti inflammatory and said get more tests done in 6 weeks and come see me in 7 weeks. Every morning I wake up in pain and pretty much cry in till the painkillers kick in and when they do my stomach is still tender like I've been doing sit-ups all night. I can't pick up my kids or pretty much do anything around the house without it coursing pain and I'm always bloated, I have lost hair. I don't know what to do and I need someone to talk to about it. My husband doesn't know any more then I do about it. Should I go back to the doctor or try and wait it out for 7 weeks?
