Over mature eggs?

Hi ladies - this is my first time in this forum, and I'm hoping those of you with some experience might give me some insight.

I have been meeting with a fertility specialist due to recurrent miscarriage. She's been testing (thyroid, HSG and SA), although we don't have any results yet.

Yesterday I went in for an ultrasound and she said I should ovulate this weekend based on my follicle. However, my cycles are very regular, and I know I won't ovulate until next Wednesday. Because of this, she thinks I might be ovulating "over mature eggs" and wants to possibly trigger on Monday.

My question is, what does this mean? Is it possible for the body to just naturally always only ovulate with over mature eggs? Is it possible that my follicles are just bigger even for a normally mature egg?

I've been looking online with not much luck. Obviously I'll ask her Monday, but was hoping to hear some thoughts in the interim.

Thanks in advance!!
