Overthinking, tired, and scared..

So I'm sitting here thinking about all that has gone on in the past few years of my life. I had a mate I was with for 2 years. Come to find out towards the end of our relationship, I found out he cheated. A lot. He had multiple sexual partners. Well, after separating and moving onto my next relationship, my current and I had sex. Shortly after, we ended up with a trip to the ER, and found out that I had an std. Gonnorhea to be exact. I had no idea that I had contracted it. So there is a chance that I had it for about 3-4 months. It's been weighing heavy on my mind here recently. I don't know where to reach out to or who to even ask.. but i'm just curious as to if anyone's ever contracted an std of any kind and could still conceive.. Thank you in advance. I just needed to get this out. I've worried myself sick over this.. It's just so hard because like everyone else here i'd love to have my own little one if its even possible.. I'm so sorry if I put this in the wrong forum..

I would ask a doctor. They would probably know but gonorrhea is definitely curable and I think you would be fine. I would ask though just to put your mind at ease.

hun lots and lots of people concieve when they have had STDs in the past. Definitely check in with your dr if you are worried

I was in the same boat... But chlamydia... Was treated and took the asshole back... Became pregnant a few weeks later.. Found out a 7 mos pregnant he was back to his old ways and gave it to me AGAIN. Was treated and the pregnancy continued on (our relationship did not) and my daughter is now 13. I also conceived 3 times since then. One ended in a mc (which has nothing to do with the std) one is now a healthy 10 year old And this one just started.... I honestly think you will be just fine. Hope that helped.

All I can say is that when I was younger I had a false positive for gonnorea and clamidea.. they gave me meds and told me to come back in for a check up... I took the whole medication they gave for those two weeks and when I went back, I was told that it was a false positive. I still finished the meds just to be safe and I am now 8weeks or less away from delivery. My ttc journey lasted 9 months with 4 or 5 of active trying to get here, but it is certainly not impossible. In fact you hit the gold mine STD wise as those STds are some of the few completely cureable if caught early and do not necessarily affect ttc any more than anything else...
