Ovulating while on the pill!?

This is my first month on the pill. I decided to take a break from TTC until I found work that offered health insurance. I had a mc in July and the medical bills were outrageous! Well last night I was having ovulation cramps, so I ran and took an OPK and what do you know....IT WAS POSITIVE! Yesterday was CD 14! I dont know what to think and google is not helping. Does anybody know if its normal to get + OPKs on birth control?

What pill are you taking? My dr gave me loestrin 24 fe and yeah... I was ovulating on that plus I had a chemical WHILE on it 6 months ago and didn't miss any.

Thats what I'm on! Great, Ive not been using a back up method!
