Ovulation after d&c

I had a d&c on the 9th jan for MMC, I bled for around 8 days and spotted on and off until 12 days post d&c , I took a preg test 2 weeks post d&c and got a very faint line still , 2 days later I had all my usual ov signs so bd just in case , I also have all my post ov signs . I've just taken a preg test today and def negative I've never been so excited to see a negative and I have hope that I really did ov , and might actually be in with a chance for a bfp any of you ladies ov so soon after d&c ?

First, let me say I'm very sorry for your loss. A MC is hard to deal with, and in my experience, a D&C can be horrifically traumatic.

It took me between 5-6 weeks to clear the hcg out of my system after my D&C. HOWEVER, I actually ovulated on CD13 following my most recent MC. Seriously hoping I get my bfp this cycle with no AF in between!

Thanks for your reply dill , I am sorry for your losses also . I'm pretty sure I ov 15 days past my d&c so fingers x for us both I'm hoping for no af I between either . Xx

Sorry for your losses. I had my erpc on 22 jan and have been debating whether to ttc before af or not. What did you get told about it?

Sorry for your loss spud .
I was told if I'm ready emotionally go for it straight away , and that most ladies will find they are very fertile after a d&c and fall pg quickly. I asked if there was any increased risk of mc with concieving soon after and was told absolutely not

That's good to hear ttc. I think I'm just going to not use any bc this first month and not worry if I get pregnant or not and use my opks after af. I doubt I'll get pregnant straight away anyway as it took 6 montha before my first pregnancy last year.
