Ovulation after mc

Wasn't really sure where to post this, so thought I'd start here .
I had a mc on jan 28th, and bled for about a week and a half. I've read that I should consider the miscarriage the first day of my cycle, and I also know that things after the miscarriage won't necessarily be " normal".
I just wondered if anyone found themselves pg after mc thinking they didn't ovulate? I'm usually pretty aware of my cycle and when I ovulate, but haven't really been paying attention since the mc. DH and I haven't been using protection, and we're not trying, but we understand a pg could happen. Thx!

I lost my angel baby in May 2014, at 6w (she'd died at 4w5d), but then got pregnant without a cycle in between in late June (estimated), found out Fourth of July 2014. So yes, it can happen. Make sure your hCG levels are zero first before rushing to test because you might just pick up the falling levels of hCG from the MC.

PS: Doctors mostly tell you to wait just so they don't have issues dating the pregnancy after a miscarriage. Some say your body needs to recover, and that's true, but I think 6 weeks was plenty of time for my body to readjust and get preggers again.
