ovulation and sore nipples question

Hey ladies I was just wandering do you get sore nipples before ovulation happens or is it something you get after. I am trying to see if I may still have a chance this month as I have a yeast infection and can't bd. I am on cd 17 and the last time dh and I bd is cd 14 but since cd 16 I have had very sore boobs. Please any thoughts.

hey - yeah i get sore boobs (mainly nipples ) leading up to ovulation - its the main symtpom of ov that it get. i get a bit of cm on cd 13/14 as well then the soreness seems to dissappear. do you have an idea of when you usually ov? could you be getting ready to ov? x

My breasts only go sore afterwards, I guess it's different for everyone x

Hi, Im new to babyandbump. I came off the pill in July and have been TTC since. I had a 45 day cycle last month and I believe i am due to ov in the next couple of days, going on my last cycle. I have had sore nipples for the past couple of days but they have stopped hurting now but I used a OPK today and its still saying -ve so I hope Ive not missed my window.

Nice to hear they might get sore b4 OV.

I get really sore nipples only - the rest of the boob not sore at all. This happens for me for 3-5 days AFTER I ovulate. I'll get a lot of EWCM and super increased libido for a day or so, followed by a couple days of intense nipple pain. They also stick straight out the whole time too, the crazy things.

For some women I think thats true, but I would say most of the time women get sore breasts, bloating and such after ovulation do to the rise in progesterone.
