Ovulation confusion

Hi ladies!!

Last month, I had tons of ovulation signs: dizziness, irritable, extra frisky, extremely sensitive nipples, tender boobs, tons of ewcm leading up to few days before ovulating a big glob of snot-like cm (sorry if tmi), strrrong ovary pains on ovulation day, the whole nine. This month I've had little to no cm the entire time, slightly sore boobs, dizziness, irritability, and two days after a solid smiley face on a clear blue digital advanced accompanied with my dizziness I had extremely sharp ovary pains (the sharpest this cycle) for about 20 minutes. My question is..does anyone else have months where signs are very obvious, and months where you hardly notice anything at all? I ovulated on my right last month, and this month most pain was felt on the left. Some say it doesn't alternate, some say it does.

Usually in my non-pregnant cycles I have cramping during O like menstrual cramping. It is an overall constant achy feeling, not as bad as AF cramping, but similar in feeling. During cycles when I conceived, I'd get these sharp stabbing pains during O and days after O. Oh, and yes, your body can alternate which ovary it releases an egg from each month. Sometimes it will be the right side, sometimes the left. It can alternate each month back and forth but usually it is totally random. Sometimes your body will even favor one ovary over the other.

Thank you!! Since this post I've ovulated each month (was confusing at first when originally posted this because of annovulatory from PCOS never ovulated since starting my period at young age) but now I'm dialed in and can tell when I'm ovulating! 😄
