Ovulation Help!!

Hi Everyone, I'm new to this site and I have a question I'm hoping someone can help me out with. I am on my first cycle of 50mg of clomid this month and I went for my 12 day sonogram this week. It wasn't my normal doctor and he said to me that there were 2...one on each side. I really dont know much about this so I'm assuming that means 2 follicles. I didnt really know what to ask him, he just told me I would probably ovulate this weekend and good luck. What exactly does any of this mean. Should I have had more then 2 follicles since I took clomid? and how would the doctor know if I really every ovulated? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just nervous and anxious. Thanks ladies!

try using an OPK see if that helps knowing when you could possibly ovulate, unless you chart your temps and see a rise

i cant use OPK because I have PCOS so theyre not accurate.
