This is my first time being on clomid. 50mg cd3-7 I'm on cd17 today, have been taking opks sense cd10 they seemed to progress and get darker but not quite as dark as the control line .. I took on cd16 at 12:00pm and seemed to be one of the darkest then I took another at 3:00 and started to become light and took one today and it's even lighter. But yesterday (cd16) I was cramping in both ovaries but more in my right as well as random lower back pain it was achey and sore but it was only on the right side not my whole lower back ..and lasted an hour. I've never felt this before ever ! And I've never experienced ov pains before because of my pcos and not having a period and not knowing if I ever ovulated.. I just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this one sided ov pains before and should I consider it ovulation

Some people never get a true positive opk, so the darkest you had on cd16 could be considered positive for you. Ovulation pain can happen before, during or after ovulation. I'm not taking clomid, but this month like you i had my positive opk and felt O pain on the same day. It could be that clomid caused more than one follicle to get pretty big and the pain you felt was because it was getting crowded in there! I would bet that you O'd yesterday or today. Good luck!

Yup the exact same thing happened to me last cycle on pretty much the same time and day that you experienced it. From CD 8-16 I had pains in both ovaries, but not too bad. Then on CD 16 my OPK at around midday was positive but earlier and later in the day was negative. At about 9.30pm I started getting intense pain in my right ovary. After that the pain disappeared and from CD 17 onwards I had no pain in my ovaries. My temperature rose the next day.

Of course no one can tell you whether you definitely ovulated or not, it seems likely.

Same thing happened to me. They doubled my clomid and the last two days it hurt so bad when I was ovulating. Today I have been really crampy, sore, and just uncomfortable. Positive vibes and baby dust coming your way :)

OMG, your pains lasted 10 days?! OH NOOOO, Idk if I'd be able to deal!

I think I'm experience O pains as well-- my first time, as well -- yesterday was the first day (CD12) and it was UNBEARABLE  Trying to nap it off for 4 hours, Ibuprofen, hot bath, and warm pack didn't do anything; it wasn't until I started salivating and got sick  til it was temporarily relieved. Then overnight, the cramping started again in to this morning. However, I notice the pain is more on the right side with every step I take (yesterday, the pain was just everywhere) It feels like tight cramping/gassy feeling.

So now my opks are getting darker again .. so I'm going to continue to take the opks see if I do get an actual positive .. still have ewcm and feeling my ovaries but not pain almost like cramping .. everyone I ask on fb when they usually ovulated on clomid and a lot of them were later like cd20's .. just wish I actually knew so I can know dpo and when to actually test

By pain I mean just niggly, crampy pain. Nothing major and just enough to say "oh I can feel my ovaries". But the day I actually ovulated it hurt. I'm sorry you're having it so rough. I took my first Clomid tablet for this cycle last night and feeling exhausted and irritable already.

Well girls guess what !! I GOT A POSITIVE OPK TODAY !!!! Cd19 I can't believe it .. I've been having cramping yesterday (cd18) and today (left ovary)

Yesterday morning when I got my positive opk I woke up to a stuffy nose .. it eneee up getting worse around 7:30 8:00 and it was stuffy/runny and burning kept waking up throughout the night because it seemed like a waterfall coming out of my nose ! I still have a headache and woke up feeling warm. Could this be because of ovulation ? I rarely ever get sick and the only way I do get sick is when someone in my house is sick and no ones sick lol I was thinking maybe the change in hormones or something .. but is there any medicine I could take during the tww ?

Oh my goodness! The day after I had those horrible cramps on Sunday (I'm guessing ovulation) I woke up with a sore throat.. and since yesterday, I've had a runny/stuffy nose too.
