ovulation pain?

Hi ladies, I was wondering if you can help....

History - ttc #1 for 17 months. I dont' appear to ovulate all the time, periods range anywhere from 1 month to 4 months. I have been prescribed chlomid, 50mg days 2-6.

I am currently cd 16 on my first cycle. Days 10 and 11 I had a faint second line, then nothing, so thought chlomid had failed. I stopped doing opk's on day 13. Day 14 I had a bit of cm, and a little bit yesterday. Today I have had loads of cm, and am now having a dull pain. It is located on my left hand side, but just inside of the pelvic bone. When I sit down, it is near the crease of the bend (if that makes sense?). It is kind of dull, but then I move, and get a bit of a sharp pain for like a second and then it goes away.

I think I am going to do another opk today, just to see what is happening, but I wondered if anyone else had had this before? I have never had it and I'm not sure if it's just a weird side effect of chlomid, or if i am actually ovulating.... or even if it is all in my head?!

Any help is much appreciated.

I wish I could give you a good answer, but all I can say is that it sounds like O pains. I never feel mine, but it sounds like what I've heard described by others. Good luck! Lots of and make sure to BD at least every other day just incase...all the way to cd25, why not j/k

Thanks Phoenix. I did do an opk and although it wasn't quite as dark as the test line, it was pretty darn close! Infect I'd say it was one of the best I have ever had, so feeling quite positive now. Although it is day 16 and the fs said I should have ovulated by now but oh well, as long as I do I kind of don't care when! I think I will do another tomorrow just to be sure..... My poor eh isn't going to know what has hit him. Lol.
