Ovulation question.

Hello.

I'm new here. Me and my boyfriend are trying to conceive for first time.
Here is my "story":

1. Before birthcontrol pill:
   • Regular period. 28 +/- 2 days.
   • 4-6 days on period.
2. On birthcontrol pill:
   • 28 days.
   • 4-6 days on period.

Quit my birthcontrol pill:

• 02.10.14 : Took my last BC pill.
• 06.10.14 : Started my period
• 11.10.14 : Bleedin stopped.. (4 days)
• Trying to conceive.
• 08.10.14 : Started very, very light period.
• 12.11.14 : Started regular period.
• 17.11.14 : Bleeding stopped.. (5-9 days)

We know the ovulation is around 14 days after the period starts. But that irregularity confuse us. There are calculators all over the internet but I'm not sure if the cycle lenght is 28, 32 or 37.

We're thinking of buying an ovulation tests but we aren't even sure if it works if it has already happened.

Hey i stopped bcp 6th October. I had many "false" opks for the first cycle and it lasted 37 days. However I do believe i ovulated 13 days before af based on cp and cm. Im now on cd 14/15 and have had a positive (solid smiley) on cb opk for 4 days now.

what bcp were you on? It can take a,while for everything to calm down xx

I recommend charting so you know whats going on with your cycles.
you could be ovulating on a completely different day then you think or not at all and its normal for your cycle length to vary a bit.
