Ovulation stick positive or negative

My husband and I are trying for baby #1, my periods are pretty erratic and so have bought the cheapo ovulation sticks because I pretty much have to try from the end of my period to try catch it. Although I have tried to do this everyday, there has been 2 days this cycle where I missed days. The last 2 days worth of sticks have come up with another line fainter than the first but the instructions say this is a negative. I have not, however, yet had a full on positive. I'm just wondering if anyone has got pregnant while the test shows not fully positive? TIA

I have got pregnant once and confirmed ovulation with temping 2 other times when my opks never went fully positive.
