Hi,
I have just started using the pushchair part of my Oyster and I am really disapointed with the hood. I can't make it stay forward at all, it just flops about. Its really creased and looks rubbish and unless I have it extended all the way forward it doesn't shade lo at all.
Has anyone else noticed this or have I managed to fit it wrong?
Thanks

Finally someone else!! Yes my Oyster has the exact same problem. I went to Kiddicare as I thought it was me doing something wrong, but they told me it is supposed to be like that!? Very disappointed!

Theres a zip inside the hood, that makes it more sturdy and a mosi net ;)

I haven't really found this. I either have it pushed back so it clicks or pulled all the way forward so it clicks again!

Do you mean the zip for the mosi net or the one that is further back that I have no idea what its for. Also have you found that the net dyes your lo's feet black? Does anyone know if you can take it out to wash to see if it gets rid of the excess dye?

This is exactly what I've been doing but now I've seen a picture of it with just a small hood its really annoying me! Sure I'm just being over picky!

i bought mine on tuesday and i love it my hood seems great i mainly use it unzipped on the fully extended way and i love the sun net etc its def not floppy ?
their customer service people are lovely i phoned them up wed with a question maybe you could give them a call ?

I think the hood is amazing, when extended (you must extend it imo) and the mosi net was amazing in the heat. There is a bar within the hood that needs adjusting sometimes, otherwise it does look floppy.

My hood is also floppy however it doesn't click so now I'm wondering maybe I need to be more forceful to get it to click?

Doesn't matter if I half extend it or fully extend it still dips in-between the metal rods.

Might take it into the shop I bought it and see if I'm doing something wrong. Glad I'm not the only one thinking this though !

I've got the Oyster Black Pearl

Def needs to click or is floppy - initially I found you have to be quite forceful!

Thanks everyone, I emailed Babystyle yesterday to see if I was doing something wrong of if its just meant to be like it. I'm thinking it will probably get better the more I use it as it won't be so creased.
