Hi all! :D

I haven't posted in here yet but seeing as my LO will be a toddler in 56 days :)cry:) I have a question!

My LO takes a pacifier for naps and bedtime and after she turns 1, I'm hoping to wean her off. My plan is either go completely cold turkey or use the pacifier only for bedtime and slowly wean her off that way.

So, for anyone that has already weaned. What did you do and how long did it take? Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks! :flower:

There is another thread here somewhere about this. I would say that personally 12 months is too early to start weaning her off. She is more than likely too dependant on it and won't understand why you are taking it from her. I think i remember hearing someone say that pre 18months is not good to have their comfort thing taken away.
My ds was 2yrs 5mths when we did his and he was fine with it. My dd is coming up 2 and i am looking at taking it away within the next 6 months.

Thanks for responding. I'll go find that other thread. :flower:
