I had my anatomy scan today and the tech pushed sooo hard during the exam. Each individual push wasn't bad, but after 30 minutes of it, I walked out feeling very sore. No obvious cramping though. By the time I got home, I had a smear of brownish/red discharge in my underwear. It's now 6 hours later and I still feel uncomfortable. I called the nurse there and she pretty much blew me off. She said there shouldn't be any bleeding because I didn't have a trans vaginal. I told her that I'm aware of this, and that's specifically why I'm calling. I know there shouldn't be bleeding after an abdominal ultrasound!! If it had been vaginal, I never would have bothered her for simple spotting after!!
The doctor called me back a little bit ago and said he'll do a trans vaginal on Monday for me to look at the cervix and placenta. They told me to rest and drink lots of water for the next 24 hours. I feel like they're just trying to cover their ass now though. I had absolutely no issues during this pg before the ultrasound this morning. Now I'm just super annoyed. Has anyone heard of this???
