pain in cervix

I have had this weird pain in my cervix for the last few hrs today.
Baby is happy enough. But it just feels like so much pressure on it.
I'm hoping it's just the way baby is laying. As I know she has moved coz her feet are the other side & higher!
It's just it can get quite sharp :/
Shud I worry & call mw. Wud call my mum but she is on holiday x

I've had a bit of an achey feeling down below since earliest days and had it a lot with my second son too I think it's just pressure down there of growing baby however check with your midwife. Doesn't take long to call up and I'm sure they're used to hearing about this stuff and reassurance xx

I had a weird pressure at around 16 weeks and called the mfm and they had me come in straight away. It turned out to be baby feet down putting pressure right on the cervix but boy was I glad to be checked out and glad it was nothing serious. I'd say call doc and see what they say. Let it be up to them to determine if it's normal or not.

It's ok, my mother is the supervisory of all midwifes. I have spoken to her she said sounds normal. Ligament tissues relaxing & stretching xx

It's so worrying though isn't it! Every little twinge! You are lucky to have a mum who can advise! I would probably be on her case lol!!! X

The other day I felt like she was scratching my cervix! Like if I put my finger in my vagina that I could hold her hand!! Lol sounds horrible but that's how It felt :/

Haha yep it's nice to know we aren't alone in these crazy pregnancy feelings!
