I'm really worried. I got to pee last night about 1am and as i stood up i had this excruciating pain in my left side, going from the front, up the side and round the back. It lasted about 5mins but i then couldnt sleep in certain positions as it came back. After the initial pain i also had horrible cramps/shooting pains in that area for the rest of the night and this morning the pain seems to be low down in my left ovary area. It especially hurts when i am moving/walking.
Anyone have any idea what it could be?!

I had the same in my 2nd tri, I put it down to round ligament pain in the end. As everything softens, I had shooting pains, cramps and pulled muscle sensations which nobody seemed too concerned about. It lasted a couple of weeks and I still get the occasional shooting pain as baby presses on a nerve or something. But don't sit there worrying, see your gp or midwife if you want it checked out.

Thankyou.
I am going to call the doctors to try and get an appointment tomorrow if i can. I've had round ligament pain in a previous pregnancy so i know its not that. I also know i have a cyst on my left ovary so wondering if it is something to do with that? I'm guessing the docs will just tell me to 'rest up' and then check on the cyst during my scan the week after next. :(

Could be possible UTI or Kidney infection xx

It could still be ligament pain... It tends to be stronger and "different" with each pregnancy. But if there's a cyst there, there's a good chance that it could have ruptured, which wouldn't cause any problems and is perfectly safe. With how far along you are, it could also just be pain from your baby laying on a nerve. Ugh, my son would always lay on a nerve on my right side and send shooting pains up my side, down my leg, everywhere!

Good luck!! I'm sure everything's just fine, but I hope your doctor can put your mind at ease for ya.

Yes check with the Dr. To make sure everything o.k. I feel like that when I drink not enough water or when I drink coconut juice. Coconut milk or juice good when you almost ready to delivery baby but not too good for first or second trimester.
