We just did... and I realized after, "oh no, what if there are risks to the baby!!"

Please tell me you have in the past and all is okay or that it is safe to do... Google has mixed answers and now I'm paranoid.

We had both windows open and the fan going, plus the door open.

I'm sure you're fine. Most paint is low VOCs these days. I've painted numerous times in this pregnancy and my last one!

I painted the bedroom last week I'm sure you'll be fine if the windows where open etc :)

I think it's probably only certain paints that are a problem. Some glosses prob aren't good if in enclosed spaces. I've been spray painting stuff outside so hoping that's ok.

I'm sure you will be fine I know people who have painted during pregnancy as long as windows were open and you weren't exposed to paint for too long! my oh is painting our bedroom right now, he gave me strict orders to not help so I'm downstairs with lo feet up relaxing....the perks of pregnancy :)

I've only heard of it being a big deal if it was oil-based paint, which you probably didn't use.

I say you're fine :)

Hi
I'm painting today hun I checked with midwife she said it's fine windows open and all the new paints are low voc anyway so don't worry I have a friend who moved house at 15 weeks into a house that had been left a right state she's a single mum had to paint every room bless her baby is fine he's 2 now :)
Don't worry

Emma

With my first I painted the room all pink :) I was about 34 weeks pregnant (I think approx) .. As long as the room was well ventilated. You'll be okay :)
