Panic... Can I be pregnant again already????

Hello,

I just gave birth to my DS May 22nd. I had two "periods" after giving birth, but this month I've been experiencing the signs of a period, but I haven't had anything. My last menstruation was July 26. The HPT said negative, but I don't know if it's because it's too early to tell or what. My husband and I used a condom, but now I'm having all of the "what if" thoughts. Ive read about irregular periods after pregnancy, and I'm hoping that that is my case.

Please help. I dont know if I'm overreacting or if I have a valid concern.

You can get pregnant as soon as 2 weeks after giving birth (though unlikely that early). Condoms aren't 100%, so there is a chance. I'd wait a week and test again.

Periods can be very irregular after pregnancy. But i would test in a week to make sure

I fell preg 4 months after my LO was born using withdrawl method. Nothing is 100% so I would suggest testing again in a few days and if AF still doesnt show, get a blood test done. Good luck x

Periods can be so irregular after pregnancy! Especially if you're breastfeeding. Mine were up to 42 days apart! Crazy! xxx

Yes periods can be very irregular after having a baby. If your concerned and AF still hasnt shown in a week do another test
