Paranoid anyone??

So its been ages now since ive heard from FOB, not so much as a text from him. Which to be honest, it doesnt really bother me. He was so unreliable and does sod all, that its no great loss to either of us.

But i am so paranoid! I live everyday in fear of a solicitors letter dropping on my doorstep, or if i see a car parked outside my house i think he's found me and come to take her.

And now it seems to have stepped up a notch, im moving into my own place on saturday and its being decorated at the moment before i move in, and while i was leaving today after helping my mum do some painting, a man walked by the house and just happened to glance at me, but now i feel like he was waiting for me so he can break in while i move in, i feel to scared to move in now =/ I keep thinking people are waiting for me to move in so that they can push something alight through the letter box so the house goes up in flames.

Ive always been quite a paranoid person but i seem to have gotten worse! And i blame FOB for this competley!

I don't know your history hun but, is this just coming out of your head or have you experienced stuff like this before? like, do you have reason to flee your ex? i'm sorry, I just don't know your history and stuff and what to get things straight before I reply properly

Its a scary thing moving into your own place on your own hun. My lil girl was 8 months when i moved into our flat and because of no adult company i felt paranoid alot too but it gets easier and you get used to it i think. I love having my own space and being just me n my babes x

Hey hun Im meant to be moving into my flat tomorrow night and Im so paranoid Im actually dreading it!It's even worse because of something I found out about my neighbour below me which I don't really know what I can do about it....I know that sounds so confusing!

I have the same feelings and Im always checking every car that goes past me and stuff!

Although not quite the same circumstances I do relate to your paranoia!

FOB hasn't been on the scene since I fell pregnant because he wants it "his way or no way"....

His parents have money so I am terrified that when my daughter is born they will pay a top solicitor so he can get all the acces he wants when really he doesn't deserve to have it his way. He's done nothing to help since I fell pregnant and been nothing but vile to me....but I know a day will come when the letter arrives....and i will just write on it "not known at this address" and post it back

Nice plan White Geisha, my babys dad is "his way or no way" too and I know he WILL push some form of legal crap if he tries.

I have lived away from home for about 5 or 6 years, but always lived with friends and last week i moved into my own little place, ready for babys arrival but now, i keep thinking people are stood in my house and going to grab my feet in bed - even when i wake up after being asleep for several house, i think they will grab them then as it will really scare me, not put any boxes under my bed so i can check.

I fully understand everyones paranoia!!

Right now I am even contemplating moving! I am not going to stop him seeing his daughter...but I know he will not like my terms...he even said to me the other week "I hate that you have all the control".....being in the army and getting told what to do makes him a control freak when on leave...he admitted this to me and said he spends most of his life being told what to do by the army so when he is on leave he does what he wants...which was true, we did what he wanted, when he wanted and if we didn't he got the hump! One of the reasons we split up!

i am terrified every day that my ex will find me. but you cannot think like that. you have to stay positive. if you are scared then you lo's will pick up on it and they will end up being scared too which isnt health for any of us!

my motto is "fake it till you make it!" act confident then you will eventually feel confident!

My extries to have it all his way too and gets vile to me just make sure you keep every text,letter or whatever so if it goes court u have back-up x

Im sure you will be fine hun, Takes a while to settle into your own place but once you do you will love it and feel so confident there. He's not gonna do anything that drastic i dont think, But if you are suspicious of something, ring the police. Install an alarm if it will make you feel better? I have 3 locks on my door and also lock the kitchen door at night (back door in the kitchen) SO just do stuff like that if your worried x
