I miscarried 3 months ago. I began spotting a week after a missed period. My doctor informed me I was miscarrying due to decreasing HCG levels. The day of spotting my HCG was 565, two days later it was 226. Went in for a vaginal ultra sound, and my doctor said all was clear, since it was a very early miscarriage.
However, after that I had extreme abdominal pain, recurring three times a week, plus brown discharge that never stopped.
I went to another doctor three weeks later, and discovered the my HCG levels only went down to 183. Each week after that I went to the hospital to check HGC levels until they reached 25. A week after that it rose to 27. My doctor concluded that I have a partial molar pregnancy and gave me a methotrexate shot and chest xrays. I was really scared. No side effects from the injection. A week later my HCG levels have gone down to 20. My doctor said to wait one week more to see if my levels reach zero before giving me another injection.
I am still waiting.
All I want to say is that if anyone here has any questions or input about molar pregnancies is to post them here.
I have searched the internet but rarely found personal experience with this kind of situation.
All the best to all
