partner had ssr today only found 1dead sperm

hi im very new here though not to iui ivf egg share or icsi all of which i have been through though 2 children later and its very different as my partner was not able to produce a sample hence ssr which was done today thou at present all i know is only 1 dead sperm was found and i left the clinic with them still apparently looking for more to hopefully mayb grow some overnight... help im at my witts end partner is devasted no sperm were their and very sore as he only had a local due to health problems.....
