Passing tissue??? normal?

I don't know how else to describe it...it looks like pieces of tissue. not much, very little... background info: I had my first baby 4 months ago. I had 3 normal periods (though a little heavy as expected) and I am in the middle of a pack of BC pills and have been bleeding off and on for 11 days now with the tissue about every other day. I tore badly with my son. Had 60 stitches...using the bathroom is painful, as is sex...is all of this normal??
