Hi... I'd love to hear from anyone who has PCOS and has tried Femara.
A little background... I was diagnosed with PCOS at age 20, was on the pill for 10 years and came off when it was time to 'try,' I was having four-month long cycles and got pregnant in August, miscarried in September, started Metformin, had two 40-day cycles after my miscarriage, and am now on CD 87.
My doc (regular gyno) is checking my blood levels tomorrow... he checked them last week and decided that it looked like I might be ovulating, so re-check tomorrow. If I ovulated, great, I start femara on my next cycle if I'm not already pregnant; if not, Femara. I think the plan is 2.5 mg/day for CD 3-7.
What kind of responses did you have? How long did it take? What side effects, if any, did you notice? What kind of monitoring did you have?
