Hi there, I have unexplained ammenhorea. I'm on clomid but didn't O or dtd this month.
I have really bad side effects to progesterone, I've tried cyclogest, utogestan, norehisterone.
I was wondering if any of you PCOS ladies had tried any of these crazy methods to get AF? I'm reading about parsley and vitamin C a lot. I really can't see how high doses of vitamin C can cause a bleed as its excreted in your urine so it's impossible to take more than you need in. Has anyone had any success with alternative methods?
To be clear I want AF not a termination, no chance of a bub up there 😞
It was 60 days last time !

I have not had success with either of those. I did have success with using dong quai awhile back.

Thanks, maybe I will try that. How much do you need to take?I've just tied parsley ( I thought that would be the most harmless) nothing has happened apart from I never want to eat the stuff again!
*sigh* more provera for me then.

I've tried vitamin c and cinnamon (separately and together) and nothing.

I can remember how much my tabs were but I took 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening.

I tried parsley once it just softened the cervix but didn't bring on AF, vitamin c did work and green tea also helped bring on AF when it was due but late for some reason. if you did ovulate but late and its not due yet nothing will bring it on early.
A high dose of vitamin C 5000mg broken down throughout the day works by cutting off the progesterone to the uterus which signals AF to come so if you didn't ovulate this wont work either.
Progesterone works if you have not ovulated by tricking your body into thinking it did so when you stop taking it AF shows. Have you thought of taking the progesterone vaginally instead of orally to reduce the side effects?.
