I am 23 ttc for 2 years! I was shocked that I ended having problems TTC (aren't we all)! Through the process I learned that I had PCOS (ultrasound showed no cysts) I found out through blood work. I have now been on metformin for almost a year. I started getting regular periods about 5 months ago. FINALLY. They were few and far between when I first started metformin, but the symptoms (stomach) were so bad I took 3 pills a day instead of 4 and all of a sudden I had a period!! We tried tried and failed to get pregnant. At first I was doing opk but my Obgyn informed me they were pointless for PCOS patients and not to waist my time (I had a positive for a week and a half!), so finally after meeting with Obgyn a million times he suggest HSG test. I passed! No blockage! So here I am 2nd day of taking clomid 50 mg round #1 and I'm up at 4 am with hot flashes and insomnia! I pray this works. I've always and forever wanted to be a mom!! I have some slight cramping. Hopefully that means it's working! Anyone have success with similar situations? First time ever posting!! How did I do!
