PCOS & Spironolactone???

Hello Ladies,

I've been recently diagnosed with PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome)and I've been put on spironolactone. I haven't notice any changes except I'm more moody and I've gained some weight. I was wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms? Did spirono help you? Does it help ovulation? I know it helps with acne and facial hair but I want something to help with O too. I have very mild acne but I have a lot of dark facial hair its very embarrasing but I dont feel this helping it. I'm going to see my new doctor thursday so i'm going to bring this up to him but I wanted to know if its helped or hinder or not helped anyone at all. THANKS
