PCOS & Unicornate Uterus- discouraged

Hello Ladies, this is my first thread on this website. My husband and I have been TTC for about 3-4 years now. About 1&1/2yrs ago we started seeing a fertility specialist. We did about 6 rounds of oral meds with no production of any eggs. This was very frustrating especially since the doctors we were using didn't do any test to figure out why we were having infertility issues. After months of frustration we decided to seek another doctor. Once we did they immediatly did the testing I needed. It was found that I have a unicornate uterus. I was devistated. I had 1 child when I was 19 which was completely unplanned and I delivered at 37 weeks. I never knew that having a second child was going to be so difficult. Due to frustration and constant disappointment, We have since given up with the doctors for a little while to see if prayers and just time can be on our side. But since I have both PCOS and UU, I am getting quite dscouraged. Wondering if there is any advice anyone can give, or just some positive words of encouragement?!

Sorry to hear you're struggling. It just stinks to want a baby so bad and to have your body not cooperate. 3-4 years is a long road.

Delivering at 37 weeks with UU is pretty remarkable!

I've heard of women having luck with egg production, with femara when they haven't responded to clomid. I'm not sure what meds you were taking, I was just assuming it was clomid. You could consider that if you want to try meds again.

Do you have septum in uterus, or only unicorn shape. If you have septum, it can be operated by laparoscopy procedure (hysteroscopy). For PCOS see other threads here.

Sorry, I didn't read carefully, you already have one child, don't worry, just see other threads here for PCOS and metformin. Check your adrenals and thyroid too.
