These are so nommy! They really are! I'll upload a pic when they're out of the oven, but I've made them before and they rock!

**INGREDIENTS** (makes 20)
  • 125g/4.5 oz butter, softened, plus extra for greasing
  • 150g/5.5 oz peanut butter (I have used chunky and smooth)
  • 225g/8oz granulated sugar
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 150g/5.5oz plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 75g/2.75oz unsalted natural peanuts, chopped (optional)
Lightly grease 2 large baking sheets. Place the butter and peanut butter in a large bowl and beat together. Gradually add the sugar and beat together well. Add the egg, a little at a time until it is combined. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into the mixture. Add the peanuts and bring all together to form a soft dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 190*C/375*F/Gas 5. form the dough into 20 balls and place them onto the baking sheets, about 5cm/2 inches apart. Flatten them slightly with your hand.

Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes, oir until golden brown, leave to cool on wire racks.

These sound yummy and my hubby and son love peanut butter so I'm going to attempt to make them probably tomorrow.

Thanks for the recipe

I have to do this tomorow! I love peanut butter so need to do this

haha...they lasted 3 hours in my house! I had 6 adults and 2 kids in my house... one of the adults is allergic to peanuts, but the rest of us demolised them!

Is the dough meant to be sticky? i cant seem to get mine not to be...

Yeah kinda sticky, Maybe put it in the fridge for a bit longer to harden it up?

Mine went more sticky when I'd been handling it too long!
