Pelvic Pressure - 21 weeks!!

Hi girls,

Anyone else feeling pressure in pelvis so early - its really worrying me - I dont know if its the way baby is lying. I was only hospital recently concerned about preterm labour as was having back ache and cramping - they checked my cervix and said that it was not ptl.

But I am still concerned abt this pressure - I think I might mention it to my own GP. Any of you ladies experience this so early? Thanks a mil for any insight!! xx

hmmm not had this myself, i did get aching hips when i was earlier on, but nothing since

could just be all th change thats going on then esp if you have been to th hosp.

try not to worry is alot going on in there!

I've only recently been getting bad pain in all regions below and I'm nearly 22 weeks. Like you, my cevix was checked and all is well. I think the baby will be putting a fair amount of pressure in all areas, so it appears to be normal. xx

i've felt pelvic pressure too depends where the babys sitting i think

Me too. Sometimes it feels really heavy but I think like some have said, it depends on how/where baby is laying x

I feel pressure down there, I figure it's the way little one is laying.

Hi girls,

Thanks for your replies I was so worried abt the pressure! Went to docs and they said same as yourselves prob just way baby is lying. She sugg doing swimming or using a "yoga ball" ha...may make baby move when they get into an awkward position! She was saying can also expect these aches, pressure and pain to get worse!! The joys all worth it tho!! xx

I've felt pressure almost the entire pregnancy. My doctor said it'll only get worse and laughed.. I wouldn't worry!

same as me!! I thought it was the way baby was lying and I confirmed..because one night it was really heavy down there and I felt little wiggles so I said to myself that it had to be LO. Also I find now that LO sometimes put pressure on my bladder and it feels like I have to take a wee and only a little comes out. With my first I didn't have that until 3rd trimester!!

me too but not daily on and off for weeks now, since I first felt movement after my nuch scan actually having had scans since and I know my baby is low and the placenta is in the wrong place, but baby is really active my mw thinks its just baby and his position, nothing to worry about xx
