Has anyone been diagnosed with a pericentric inversion? We have had little luck trying to conceive and had one miscarriage in June 2013 and have not conceived since even with the help of a fertility doctor. We were tested for chromosomal abnormalities and my husband has a pericentric inversion on chromosome #3. We were told invetro is our best option for a biological child but that they would not give us statistics for the likelihood of conception with a baby that would not have an abnormality due to lack of case studies. My husband, while carrying this abnormality, leads a normal life because his genes are all present, just out of order. His parents are getting tested to determine if he inherited this from one of them or if he is a new abnormality. In the meantime, we have taken a break from the fertility specialist and just trying to be happy. 2013 was the worst year of our lives. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any insight would be appreciated...
